About Pints for Pets

Craft brew festivals are very popular around the country with the largest one - The Great American Beer Festival - taking place every October in Denver, CO.  Locally, there have been some similar festivals held, but never on the scale of the previous 2008 or upcoming 2009 Pints for Pets Brewfest scheduled for this spring. As craft beer grows in popularity, quickly becoming one of the largest segments of the American brewing industry, this festival will provide craft brewers with an opportunity to share their brewing techniques with a large segment of their consumers in an exciting and fun atmosphere. To this end, we are proud to present the 2009 Pints for Pets Brewfest in conjunction with the Altoona Curve to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.  The festival will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2009 with Session 1 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and Session 2 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Blair County Ballpark.  We are very excited that the Altoona Curve is participating in our Pints for Pets Brewfest by making it part of their 2009 list of events.  Please join us as a sponsoring member and come on out to the old ballpark on May 30th and enjoy some pints of the finest craft brew…for the pets, of course!
